Property was fantastic cosy and clean staff on what’s app very quick to reply to anything wee needed pool was massive :) quick taxi ride to town would definitely come back family of 6.

To be improved

Had few minor issues but Caroline on what’s app was quick at helping so nothing major.

Large pool, nice location near to the coast, friendly communication with the host, shops are relatively close (10 mins by car)

To be improved

Pool was cleaned only after our request, the house is well equipped but many things are worn-off and not really clean. Very late communication in terms of keys handover.

“Ideal for outdoor living - with lovely private, heated pool and large poolside area for relaxing.”

The best

Large outdoor area with private heated pool was fantastic, a great place to relax, south facing so sun all day; lots of loungers and poolside furniture, a pool shower and a built-in BBQ! Location was within easy walking distance of a small but well stocked supermarket and several really good restaurants. And a longer lovely walk along the sea front to several more great restaurants. There is no beach in this area, but though that didn't bother us, it's worth bearing in mind. But it is a very quiet area, which we loved and you could walk to the lighthouse and sea-front easily and see great views of Fuerteventura and sunsets! Very clean and well-equipped, though could benefit from a larger frying pan for breakfasts. Place was very clean. Memory foam beds very comfy. Air-Con everywhere [which we did not need to use, it being December]. On the whole a good place, though not luxurious and could do with some updating. Overall very clean, comfy and I would imagine great for families.

Indoors is a little tired: they have tried to spruce it up by painting tiles in bathroom, kitchen areas but unfortunately this is coming off in places. Some idiot used the kitchen work surface as a chopping board, so one area has knife marks , not a problem but diminishes the overall look and feel of the place. Indoors the lighting in the dining/lounge area is horrible bright overhead and no ambient lighting, so on the rare occasions you need to eat inside, it is not particularly relaxing - a table lamp there would be a good addition. Unfortunately this villa is semi-detached with very thin walls between the main bedrooms of both villas and our neighbours occasionally kept us awake [we are light sleepers] so we sometimes had to use another bedroom which did have sheets but we had to find duvets and blankets to put in them. In other places I've stayed in The Canaries, there have been pool/beach towels available but there weren't any here, so had we wished to go to the beach we would have had to take the bath towels we were given and wash them. I thought this was a little ungenerous. We stayed for 2 weeks and I had to wash the towels in any case as only 2 bath towels [and 2 small hand] were provided.
