Ideal location to walk into town and easy access to the beach.
The pool was really nice and was where we spent most of our time.
The host did a great job of showing us around the property.
The downstairs bedroom with separate living area is excellent.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
The week in Nerja was amazing and was mainly due to how good this property is.
“Doris' dippy holiday”
The ground floor. Villa is in a great location, fantastic views, huge and well equipped outside area, well equipped kitchen, great pool (however very deep for small children). Good dining area and lounge. 20 mins walk into Nerja and 10 mins walk to Burriani beach. Please be aware steps and hills are not for the faint hearted but I am 60, relatively unfit and managed ok. Take torches/phone torches with you for boardwalk walk home as no lighting. Most of the group were satisfied with their bedrooms but not those in the basement flat.
While the villa some time ago would have been very grand, it is in need of modernisation of some facilities, decor and some furniture upgrades. While the photos on booking.com give a true indication of location and size, the master bedroom and basement flat particularly need some TLC. Photos of the extremely large basement flat (separate from the house reached by a metal spiral staircase or going through the garden and down some stairs) show it to be more comfortable and equipped than it was. No TVs - poor/non impact Aircon, small shower placed in the corner of a very large room with shower curtain. Bidet that was broken. Master bedroom Aircon was great but when we asked whether the huge spa bath worked we were told I don't know. The shower head needs mounting on the wall as we had to sit in the bath to shower. Hard for people who have movement issues or elderly but didn't bother us. Great water pressure and always had hot water. The lovely picture window in the master needs a curtain for those who don't like light bedrooms, although there was a black out curtain you could pin up yourself. All this said, we would return to the property for its size for large groups/families and amazing outdoor area.
“Fabulous family holiday stay with adult children”

“A perfect Spain getaway”
An amazing location overlooking the ocean. There is something to be said for looking at both the pool and ocean at the same time. Perfect for groups or families. The team went above and beyond to facilitate any need or request that we had. We will definitely be returning and would recommend the property.
Some of the rooms were a bit dated and stayed quite bright at night. Being able to darken the rooms with blackout curtains or blinds would have been a nice extra for us. A rail into the pool for older people would be a good addition.
“Good”
The property was in an excellent location and the pool had an incredible view and was a lovely temperature. There don’t seem to be many insects around the accommodation. Supermarket 5 min drive away. New tv with Netflix set up for times when escape from the sun was good. Really good bbq and great outdoor space. The beach is great and lots of nice places to eat along the prom.
Correspondence from Debbie (property manager was poor) and when we contacted Amanda (property owner) due to a lack of response from Debbie, her responses were often curt and we felt like we were being an inconvenience. The aircon was off when we arrived at 7pm so had a sweltering first night where we all didn’t get much sleep. No toilet paper or soap on arrival. A little disappointing when we spent a considerable amount of money on a weeks stay. Kitchen in need of refurb.
“Not what it seems”
The views from the villa, the pool area
The long walk both uphill and downhill to the beach (appropriately named heart attack hill' by the locals )! I. My view car required at this villa , the, broken manhole, some of the electrics that did not work. The broken shower head clips, dirty washing both in the wash machine and strewn around the utility area. Lack of wardrobe to one bedroom , mosquito screens hanging off the window. staircase to the fourth bedroom which is effectively a separate annexe. Lack of access keys upon arrival, late arrival meet despite phoning from airport. Washing from previous occupancy left airing. I could go on but won't, overall we made the best of it.
“Exceptional”
The view from the villa is amazing. The kitchen facilities were great the villa was very clean and spacious. Our host Debbie was very helpful and organised trips and taxis for us as well as a lovely welcome package
