Nothing all great

The main issue was cleanliness. The fridge was dirty; the sofa needed cleaned; the bed linen had been washed but was old and stained, same with the bath towels; the barbecue was so filthy we couldn’t use it. The property is run down in places - for example, broken light fixtures on the outside of the property, dirty windows and very old-looking children’s equipment in the back garden (unlike the pictures online - there were also no sofas as advertised beside the pool area). What was most disappointing about an otherwise very pleasant stay was that when we contacted the owner to tell him about the bed linen and towels, he was unhelpful and dismissive. We ended up having to buy towels and pillow cases from the local homeware shop. We cleaned the kitchen before using it. With a little love and some money thrown at it, this villa could be restored back to its former glory - it’s a shame the owner seems so uninterested in making easy fixes that would considerably improve the property and his guests’ stay.

If I was to criticise it would just be sun loungers by the pool, not enough if the villa is full .

Were should I start... We came of 7 days 6 people, (3 adult couples)out if the 3 the rooms they left open to us 2 of them had issues, legs broken and badly fixed, and squeeky mattresses. The pillows in one of the bed were flat and yellowish, othe decoration pillows had stains of blood...for sure not recently washed... The room in the lower level with toilet had yellow toilet seat and there was sand on the floor as if not been cleaned also ants other bugs not identified were entering in the rooms from cracks on the corners... The Windows at the lower floor do not have blackout curtains (while the top floor does) The coffee machine deposit is broken and badly fixed, therefore is leaking water in the counter next to the electric socket also broken... The outside umbrella is broken... The house in general is dusty...sofa is no longer green but brownish... The supplies of toilet paper, washing machine powder, bin bags are minimal to 1 each or none... In regards of the beds and broken stuff we tried our best to assess this with the owner, however he came to fix one of the legs of the bed, open us another room downstairs for us to try to sleep and blankets for the windows that had not black out...in response to the broken stuff around the house we got the answer " never anyone has complained before, we will consider it for next bookings..." But we can see now reviews from last month also addressing the same issues, it has been reported and chosen to ignore. We did not feel this is up to the standards of renting a Villa, we had been enough places to understand when an owner takes care of his business. We would not recommend this place, is not valuable 6 ppl 1500e to sleep like in a student hostel and the guests taking care of the place than the owner himself... I have more photos but unable to post them all. The house needs to be taken care of to its former glory now.
