The best

The villa is in a really nice location, not too far out of town that you can't walk there and not to close that it is noisy. The villa does have a view of the rock and the sea in the distance so we could sit and look out over these in the evenings and that made us feel like we were part of the town and not just anywhere. There are shops within easy reach, either by car or walking. The outdoor areas are excellent and the pool at the front of the property is very nice and at 10 meters, is a very generous size for a private pool. The road outside of the villa was always quiet. I noticed that slightly closer to town, this was not the case. The parking bays by the villa were not normally in use.

To be improved

The agent was very friendly but driving via the agency to get the keys added another 30 minutes to the travel time. I'm not sure that it was made clear in the information that we would need a car to do this. If we had travelled to the destination by train or coach, we would not have been able to pick the keys up easily. The agent did meet us at the villa at the end to pick up the keys which we were very grateful for as we needed to get to the airport. Also, visitor should be aware that the air-con is only in the bedrooms upstairs and not throughout the house.
