Villa Citrus - Playa Blanca, private heated pool, air conditioner

On the whole the villa was good and clean but on arrival the pool was dirty and had not been cleaned for us coming, three pool men came on Tuesday talked about how it needed a flush through but left doing nothing and didn’t return whilst we were there and the pool got worse Also we should have been told that there was local building work going on behind us and to the side of us starting at 7.30am for the whole day ( we went to relax after a stressful time lately) Also we weren’t aware we had another villa that had two windows overlooking out pool area :(

Absolulely loved the villa and will return when we come back to Playa Blanca. We knew the area well and the location was perfect for us - less than 5 mins walk to the Supermarket, 15 mins walk to some lovely restaurants at Las Colloradas, and 20 mins walk down to the marina. Villa itself as everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday!

Clean, comfortable and practical. Very secure in a quiet area but within a 20 minute seafront walk to the marina. Pool is great and air con in the bedrooms meant nights were comfortable. Suzanne was on hand to sort any issues. Overall 10/10

Lovely villa, very comfortable and well equipped catered for everything. Felt like home from home, spacious indoors and fabulous outside space. Close to everything, shop 2 minutes walk away and leisurely 10-15 walk to marina for dinner, drinks and local markets. Walking distance to beach also, yet the street was so quiet and tranquil. Would highly recommend.

Great outdoor space

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Citrus. The villa itself is laid out perfectly for a family, with our room being at one end of the property and the 2 rooms that our kids (11&16) at the other end, with the living, dining and kitchen area in between. Ton and Klazien kept us in the loop prior to our arrival and provided all the information that we required to enter the property. Once we were in place in the villa, we had a brief visit from Suzanne - who was amazing throughout our stay, if we needed to know a bit of information we would just send her a whatsapp message and Suzanne would reply within minutes. The villa itself was very clean and the kitchen had just about every utensil that you could think of. We were also able to have a couple of movie nights in, as the TV was smart and allowed us to use our own netflix account. There is a supermarket 3 minutes away from the villa, we spent a lot of money with them, as it basically sold everything you could want for your stay at cheaper prices than we see in the UK! We only walked to the harbour once, which took about 15 minutes or so - otherwise we drove down to it (the villa also has a car park spot at the villa itself, next to the pool area. The area that villa is located is very quiet, particularly as the only passing traffic is from those that live in the neighbouring villas. On a whole, I would absolutely recommend staying at Villa Citrus - we are contemplating returning next year, we loved our stay that much! (even our grumpy teen and pre-teen loved it!)
