“Great stay in Villa Casa de la Paz, very very comfortable Villa in lovely quiet area.”

Full directions and instructions from host on finding the villa and collecting keys from the Keysafe, parking behind locked gate, villa in lovely quiet residential area 20 minute walk into Playa Blanca, which was great for an evening walk. Villa has everything in it you could possibly need, washing machine and dishwasher much appreciated so you do not need to take so many clothes if holidaying for 10 or 14 days. Beds comfortable as were all the furniture, good quality. Small welcome pack of milk, juice and water appreciated. Couple of dishwasher tablets, took my own washing machine tablets.

To be improved

Had to buy shower gel, feel this should be supplied, extractor fan in bathroom only works with light on, which is a shame as obviously do do not want to leave the light on all the time, would make sense to separate the electrical supply from fan and light, bathroom definitely needs more ventilation. None of this would stop me recommending this lovely property

“Good but minor issues related to time of year maybe.”

The best

Loved the size of the property and the garden was superb. Pool and surroundings safe and very good. Comfy furniture. Everything you could want is in villa and outside near pool areas. Towels provided and also washing/bathing liquid in shower and kitchen. Loved the welcome pack of teas, coffee, crackers and juice. Also pack of washing up liquid and sponge and cleaning cloth. Bathroom had two toilet rolls and kitchen had kitchen roll provided. There were a couple of laundry tablets plus dishwasher tablets provided as well.Easy to walk backwards and forwards ro main shopping area and nice to see shopping bags in dining room cupboard drawers. Villa has a good selection of books in English and also enough dvd movies for a holiday.. Easy walk to ferry terminal for Fuerteventura ferry to Corralejo. Easy enough hour walk to the Lighthouse (Faro). We would book again but not at colder/damper time of year.

Bedrooms were cold and damp and main room wardrobes smelled of foist/mould. Appreciate it was January and winter in Canaries but bedrooms were not aired out and also bedding felt damp and smelled musty. Washing machine tray full of mould and drum smelled bad - again probably due to time of year and chill weather and unoccupied periods.. We ran bleach through but not fully clean enough and needs tray soaking in bleach plus running through with specialised appliance cleaner. No one had checked if appliances worked and kettle was unusable with handle becoming super hot at first usage, luckily there was a hob kettle in a cupboard so easy and quick to boil water on hob. Dining room had three blown bulbs in light fitting. We left a note for whoever does maintenance about this.
