“One of the most beautifull place I have ever stay.”
Villa Delfines on La Gomera is truly a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views from the terrace—watching the sunrise over Mount Teide and the Atlantic Ocean was an unforgettable experience. The apartment exudes a delightful fragrance that adds to its charm. The kitchen is impeccably equipped, making it a pleasure to prepare meals. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The owners were incredibly accommodating and made our stay seamless. Suites & Villas Los Telares, La Gomera We were also enchanted by the discreetly chirping lizards in the garden, adding a touch of nature's melody to our stay. Villa Delfines is a unique and special place that we will undoubtedly return to.

“Exceptional”
An unbelievably beautiful location with fantastic views across to Tenerife and Teide! Such a beautiful peaceful old villa, with lovely character, a super private garden and most of the utensils and kitchen accessories that you would need. The terrace which led of the bedroom was lovely too although the weather was quite windy at times so the blankets were nice to keep cosy whilst enjoying the view and peaceful environment. There are super restaurants nearby in Hermiguah especially El Faro, the food was super, the host superb, very friendly and accommodating.
The drive up to the villa was a bit scary for me as I don't do heights, especially near the sea very well. But we successfully negotiated it every day in our hire car! I'm quite short so the kitchen cupboards would have been a bit if a challenge if I had been there in my own.
“Excellent”
“Perfect get away in a little paradise far from 'madding crowd'”
The view from the shared garden under the shade of trees couldn't be more wonderful, as is the view from the private terrace. Very quiet location - only tourists passing through small village are walkers. On the coastal walking route around island (but very hilly). Sufficient kitchen equipment to self cater comfortably with microwave and ceramic hob and large fridge/freezer. Comforable super king bed. Have stayed twice before.
Some of the fabric beginning to deteriorate a little but apart from 1 of 4 sunbeds in garden everything worked. It's a long and hilly walk to shops and bus stop - about 30 mins so car or good fitness required. Hire cars need to be booked well in advance. None available at short notice.
“Great!”
Beautiful atmospheric old house, renovated with style. Quiet area in the countryside with its own terrace and fantastic view. Access to the garden with mango trees. We were delighted.
“Everything fantastic but a little unorganized hosts.”
Very well equipped apmt with everything you might need; excellent although remote location right on a rocky beach in the midst of banana plantations; very friendly and helpful host available almost 24/7; beautiful garden with mango trees,…
We were given the wrong directions the day of arrival (which I didn’t check as was busy packing etc!); we only realized when arrived to Hermigua, called the owners and they said to proceed to the booked location of Villa Delfines; when we came there, the keys were not in the key box.. We have waited in total about 30 minutes until the contact person/ owner arrived to show us to another apmt (ours was apparently booked by someone else by mistake..) which was absolutely new with everything necessary, it was nice as we were exhausted and had to wake up early the next morning.. But then we found out that there was no hot water in the whole apmt!!. And nothing could’ve been done as it was practically midnight already.. Next day we were told (in a nice polite way) that we have to move out at 11am, but our booked Villa Delfines was not ready yet!!. So in the end we switched the houses around 12pm and everything was fine. They gave us a bottle of cava with cookies as, I suppose, an apology for the inconvenience :) Also, it was sad to see some constructional rubbish right in front of the house inside that banana plantation, next to an abandoned, half destroyed cabin..
