“We had a wonderful one week holiday and met all our expectations. Will revisit if not WW3”

The best

The location was quiet and nice to be with the kids but close enough to walk to the old town which we did basically every evening. The pool area was large to spend a whole day taking sun and swimming in the pool. We used the charcoal grill often to prepare the fish we bought from the near by store. There were enough seats to fit 12 people outside to eat under a tree. Overall very nice and practical. The villa had a one car garage and one free parking spot on the road in front of the villa gate. We had two cars so parking was not a problem for us. Trash bin was close to our front door so we didn't need to walk far to take out the trash. With our last villa we had to walk a bit to get to the trash bin. Small thing but helpful when trash just seems to manifest (I wonder when they decide to start recycling bottles). We drank tap water the whole time. It tasted good and we had no problems with it. One more thing. We had no insects there what so ever, except couple of flies that bothered me when trying to take sun. Our previous villa had lotsa cockroaches and mosquitoes. Well this was my 2 cents - hopefully somebody finds this helpful.

The best

The location of the house was great. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to the supermarket. The owner was kind enough to let us check in earlier than expected, but also to let us leave our bags at the house while we waited on our flight, which was in the evening. The house was nice and clean, with a great pool. Also a lot of tourist attractions were either walkable, or quite cheap to get to with an Uber.

To be improved

The only downside of the house was the electricity. The owner warned us when we checked in that there was a problem with the electricity that kept going out. It happened mainly when we tried to cook or use the dishwasher. For it to stay on we had to turn off everything else, sometimes including the airconditioning. Although for the most part there were no problems, for example when we were just sitting in the living room with some lights on and the airconditioning it was fine.
