Villa El Sol - 1201

It was a little confusing that the upstairs was not included but we actually preferred the property being all on one level. Especially as we were with our toddler.

Don’t bother staying here at all. Early check in request approved, got there to be told to go away until 2pm - women in office extremely rude and spoke to us as if it’s our fault they approved early check in. Said the pool would be cleaned 1/2 times a week - never got cleaned once tried lying saying it did, tested the water to find NO chlorine and virtually zero PH or alkaline levels. Unacceptable, blamed us for them not providing a service they are supposed to give. Cooker dont work as previous reviews states. No air con in a bedroom nor living room. An extremely old disgusting fan, with thick clumps of dirt. Mice traps around the villa, what was told was insect traps but later found black large droppings in the wardrobe. Service is dismal, not even an apology instead shifting the blame to us for them failing to provide basic hygiene standards & failing to provide services they promised. Even if the cooker worked, there is thick dirt on the handles to turn it on - disgusting. Avoid avoid

On arrival we were informed we could check in at 15:30. When we arrived shortly after 15:30 the cleaner was still there due to a “A big previous mess”. We then were able to get into the property at 16:55. We had to double check the pictures to fully make sure we were in the correct villa. Online it states air conditioning but fail to mention that only 2/3 rooms are conditioned and the front room has two fans. We tried to use the gas oven to find out this did not work and the lighter provided also has no gas. Enough cutlery to fed 4 even though villa sleeps 6. Beds were not comfy and no mattress protector on en-suite bed … eww. Fully Spanish TV with around 6 working channels. The Ants … enough said. But after all this the villa was ok.
