Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Standard service for this hotel tier, although the response to complaints was inadequate.
Multiple reviews praised the beautiful sea views and the stunning location in Cala Pi.
Mentioned great pool and good facilities.
Not explicitly addressed, assigned standard quality for this hotel tier.
Overall a good experience despite the cleanliness and room quality issues.
Overall a good experience that suggested a fair value despite some issues.
“Great place to stay! Cala Pi is a more quiet area which was exactly what we wanted. Great pool, great ocean view!”
Great view on the sea!
“Communication is practically non-existent & very slow!!!! It's Managed by a property manager”
The house has a very good views of the ocean.
Situated in a quiet residential area in quiet tiny berg of Cala Pi. Cala Pi has 245 residents and we were there in late October only 20 days before the season ends. There were mostly vacationing families. The place is dominated by large homes most German-owned as summer residences. We wanted a home next to the sea. A big drawback is that it is managed by Slow Villas (a property manager) not one point of contact or there owner. From the start of the booking communication was very very slow taking days to answer our questions, which in the end were usually not addressed and with poor English. Ten you had to ask again Their name describes their communication perfectly...SLOW Villas. Their email Instructions were confusing. They require 270 euros in cash upon arrival and wouldn’t answer what this was for. We din't feel comfortable carrying this much cash. All they had to say is that it can be charged. Again you ask but get no answers. Before arriving at their office to pick up the key we tried to make alternate arrangements in case flight was late. Even this was handles so slowly and with little regard to the need we were presenting. They, provide no information al all no even if it's the A or B unit. They don't answer the phones during office hours no weekends hours, we tried several times. Issues with the property: the advertised "impressive view of the sea from the primary bedroom" was not so impressive as half of the shutters are broken and cannot be raised. Big disappointment! No plug next to bed so no light to read. Plaster need repairs, showers had mold and are very outdated, bed was not great.Curtains in the TV room are dirty and lacking, meaning they don't keep bugs out. This same door does not lock. Anyone can come into the house. In a villa this expensive it as a huge disappointment.. Also a few items should be provided idea: such as sugar, coffee, oil. Didn't answer that question so we could go prepared.
“We were satisfied generally. Very nice view of sea and coastline.”
Had no breakfast ordered, location was ok.
The house was kind a humid, there were one two lamps in the bedroom out of order.
“Exceptional”
“A great find!”
The villa was well equipped and in an excellent location. We loved the sea views. Villa staff were responsive to any issues we had. The pool was accessed by 4 steps with a shallow end of approximately 1 metre deep extending to 175 cm depth. Very pleasant temperature in the pool. The air conditioning worked well in all rooms except the main bedroom. We were pleased to find that there were more local amenities available than previous reviews had suggested. It was nice that a hire car was not necessary as long as you are comfortable with purchasing food and drink from one of the two local stores. The walk to shops and beach is ten minutes and we enjoyed the coastal path walk to another secluded sea cove. Excellent pizza to eat in or take away at Pizzeria Miguel and very good cocktails at One by One. There are good bus connections to the water park, Palma (approx. 1 hour each way and 5 euros return) and also to the airport (changing at S'Arenal).
Keys had to be collected from the villas office which added time and cost to our journey. Perhaps could have been left in the key box instead. Despite being next to the sea there were a lot of mosquitoes.
