“The perfect holiday villa”
The best

This is an amazing villa. The pool area is exceptional with many different areas to relax. The pool itself is fantastic. The levels were perfect for our grandchildren yet still deep enough for the adults. The outdoor dining areas were also perfect. Inside, the entire layout was brilliant. The 2 lounges are huge and comfortable. The kitchen really well equipped. We were in the main upstairs bedroom with an amazing terrace with views over Altea. I and my whole family are so so impressed with this villa. It is quite simply the best villa we have ever stayed in. Not forgetting the amazing host. He was so easy to communicate with and did everything possible to make our stay amazing. Thankyou.

“Unforgettable for all the right reasons”
The best

Villa Esmeralda was just fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for better we had 5 adults and 4 kids in total and the space was just perfect! The kitchen is very well equipped and the bbq is great, we used that twice ! Oh and the beds are soooooo comfy! The location is great as you are out the way but not too far from anything. The air con was fantastic and the pool was the perfect temp and not too deep for the kids. The owners are fantastic and so are the team that mange it. We will definitely be back thank you so much!!

To be improved

Everything was fantastic if I was onto be really picky I would say stair gates would be gate as the stairs are very hard and sharp so was a little worried with a toddler and obviously pool safety. More plastic cups for outside.

“Stunning villa - perfect for a group holiday - we will be back!”
The best

Such a beautiful villa! This is a large villa that is split into 2 - a 2 bed and a 3 bed - absolutely perfect for a group or 2 families holidaying together - sharing the pool and multiple eating/lounging areas outside. Really well equipped, immaculately clean, yet homely and welcoming. Room for plenty of cars. Towels all provided - enough to use for the pool too - and everything you need to cater for yourself. The garden is beautifully kept - really stunning, and you have views of both the sea and the mountains- it really felt like a holiday! Owners couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly, as was the local agent who welcomed us (late on a Sunday night!). The area of Altea old town is 1.5km away with a few restaurants (mainly Italian), supermarket, coffee shops and pharmacy. The new town is about 5km away with a huge range of (great) restaurants along the seafront. Thanks for having us Alessandro!!

To be improved

It wasn’t a pretty problem at all but just to flag that whilst the town is only 1.5km away the villa is at the top of quite a steep hill, so it’s not an easy stroll. A car would be essential I’d say, but will mean you get to explore the area fully.

The best

We had an incredible stay at Villa Esmerelda in Altea! The place is gorgeous, with stunning views of the sea from the terrace—perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a big hit, and the garden added a lovely touch of greenery. The hosts were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re after a relaxing getaway with a bit of luxury, this is the spot. We’re already planning our next visit!

To be improved

All was great no negatives. Maybe provide some tools to clean BBQ ashes would be the only comment.
