Villa Flores de Marbella

We could not get into the property when we arrived as the property did not have electric. We were put up in a neighbouring apartment. The next day (PM) the electric was back on, as I attempted to get the car onto the small drive way the electric gates closed onto the car. We then learnt to establish the gates are temperamental and had a mind of their own. A workman was sent to assess but could not fix them. So that was hit and miss. Unfortunately you have to back out onto quite a busy road where people park directly opposite making this a challenge at times. The pool took some time to clear having had no electric however we found the trees above it were constantly losing their leaves etc into the pool. The patio area was quite grubby and needed a good jet wash. The barbecue also was not clean so we did not use. Both blinds in the rooms were broken which resulted in some early wake ups. The button on the microwave was also broken (which had been previously mentioned in a review from months ago), so this could not be used. Please be advised this property is on a steep hill and not for those with mobility issues. There was a strong smell of sewerage coming from the en-suite bathroom.
