“Great location - Improvements needed”

The villa was easy to access and is in a great location for you to access lots of areas of Tenerife, close to the airport and lots of attractions including Siam Park and Mall. Only an hour away from Loro Parque also. Keys in a lock box and the host made contact a little before we arrived at the Villa. The Villa had a good amount of space for a family of 4.

To be improved

The Villa could be so much more :( the outside area is very poor. When we arrived the grate separating the two properties joint pool was broken and hanging in the pool. My husband and the other holidaying tenant next door tried to rectify this so we could still enjoy the pool safely. We did make contact with the host but he didn't reply. The outside area was very grubby and the furniture is dated and in poor condition. The pool also has salt/algae around the edges and on the drains which caused my children to come up with rashes. The posts for the built in gazebo is heavily corroded. The villa inside is basic but comfortable, but again the bathrooms could do with a deeper clean to remove built up limescale on doors, tiles and taps. The downstairs bathroom also floods as the drainage is completely insufficient. There is internet but in only the main lounge and no where else in the property. There was no arrival pack for the code for small amount of internet provided or for appliance usage, emergency contacts etc. We enjoyed our stay in Tenerife but in comparison to some of the other villas, we feel we were let down on the overall presentation and cleanliness of Villa Habib.

Pool is heated (remember to cover it over night); Jacuzzi works fine; convenient location (if drive); responsive host; great value for money; large dish washer and fridge.

To be improved

Some facilities are a bit aged, but mostly function well. Wifi signal is good in the living room and pool area, but no wifi signal in the bedrooms.
