Beautiful setting, well equipped, very comfortable and spacious.

To be improved

Noise, which isn’t the property’s fault. Cicadas are very noisy and constant and there was building work going on nearby. The pool wasn’t cleaned whilst we were there so you had to clean it yourself which wasn’t expected.

We were met by the house keeper who was lovely. The property was well equipped, clean and well furnished.

To be improved

From day one we had issues with the pool. We spent at least an hour every morning cleaning the pool of leaves (the trees above the pool do not help) and bugs etc. We also had an issue with the Chemicals. The pool was very cloudy when we arrived . As we have our own hot tub we were able use the dip test and read the chemical levels which were dangerously low in PH, therefor the Chlorine was not working causing Algi and other buildup. The Chap who came to sort the pool was lovely and really helpful. However, whilst a cover would have eliminated the leaves and other debris problem, the main issue was the more technical. The skimmers kept loosing power and therefor the water was not moving fast enough through the filtration system. I backwashed the system several times during our stay and each time the water was very brown. This should only be needed to be done on monthly basis. I am a problem solver and wanted a clean pool everyday. However I didn't want to spend an hour each morning of my holiday getting it. Owners please spend some money and sort out the pumps, tank and filtration system. My youngest and myself both had rashes due to the pool on the 1st day but luckily knew what to do as we knew the cause. Other holiday makers may not be so lucky.

The views and the size of the villa

The villa was remote and we had trouble with taxis as it did not show up on Google maps. The villa states it sleeps 8 but we arrived and had 4 sun loungers. We asked twice for another one as there were 5 of us but did not supply one! The umbrella was broken which the manager "fixed" but it was very unsafe. It states there is a Hot Tub which there was not. The air con in one of the rooms did not work and it was extremely hot. Again it was reported and nothing done. A 2 slice toaster (which did not work) for a villa that sleeps 8? It also said there was a washing machine, iron which we could not find! One of the downstairs bathrooms was full of mosquitos and it did not look like it had been cleaned. The pool also was dirty and again we had to request for that to be "cleaned". Very dated and needs updating. The area around the villa/pool is extremely unsafe. There are sheer drops with no barriers or fences. Children would definitely not be safe here.
