Villa KAKARIKO

Clean house, close to beach, everything same as on photos. Landlord was also very helpful and responds to messages fast.

Situated in a very quiet residential area. Nice enclosed garden.

Nice quiet residential area 10 min walk to a shopping ctr. Host was easily contactable. Place was clean. We would come back.

We have stayed in many Villas and this was one of the very best. It was spotlessly clean and there was every conceivable item of equipment you could wish for. Everything was of a very high quality throughout the villa. All the main rooms rooms were very comfortable and well furnished and the main bedroom bed very comfortable. We did not use the other two bedrooms but all three were roomy with fitted wardrobes. Bathrooms were spotless and the shower we used in the main bathroom was nicely powerful with plenty of hot water. Good outside space with table and chairs and a BBQ, sun loungers and the hot tub was a bonus and well maintained The villa is in a nice residential area on the outskirts of Playa Honda towards Areciefe and therefore the noise from the planes is not so noticeable. It felt a very safe area to walk round even at night, the streets are well lit. The nearest supermarket is about a ten minute walk away and the seafront restaurants about 15 minutes walk along the promenade which is very easily accessible from the villa.

The accommodation is spacious and well laid out and would easily accommodate four adults. There is plenty of day space, but the third bedroom (bunk bed style) would be small for adults. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are modern. I've never seen so many glasses in a holiday home! The external space and hot tub at the rear afford a lot of privacy and it is a quiet area. You should be aware that at this time of year the sun does not reach the patio area after about 2pm. If you have any problems the agents are very responsive and get things sorted out for you quickly. If you research this property before you book, you will know that it is on the outskirts of the town. There is a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket and 15-20 mins to the main restaurants on the seafront if you want to eat there. This was not a problem of us but please keep this in mind if you plan to stay. Having said that, it's easy to get a taxi and if you want to shop at Lidl it's 5-6 euros each way in a taxi.

Everything was amazing! Plenty of space with spacious rooms and even had an en-suite bathroom to master bedroom. The property had everything you could need, from beach towels and hair- dryer to every cooking utensil, cool boxes and take-away coffee cups (perfect for a morning walk along the beach!). It felt very secure and location was a 2min walk to the beach. The hot tub was brilliant too! Communication with the host was exceptional. Thank you for making is feel welcome.
