“Pleasant”
The place is cozy, the balcony is nice. Equipped kitchen.
Not clean. The beds were uncleaned. Sheet weren't changed. Last people's hair been on our sheets. The pool/ garden is unmaintained. There is family leaving below. the place is remote, which can be also an advantage. But there is no even supermarket around (about 30 minutes with car).

Great location for local rock climbing. Nice to have a good broadband and WiFi.
Cooker controls took a bit of guesswork.

“Villa Margarita is”
The location is wonderful and the villa suited our needs as a family of 7. It is a rustic Andalusian villa with the basics catered for so don't expect anything too luxurious. We enjoyed having the restaurant Rocabella and bar 2 mins walk away and the variety of amazing attractions nearby. The pool was well sized and views of the surrounding area were spectacular. The owners answered all our questions through Whatsapp and left us to get on with our holiday without interfering. This villa has a remote feel to it and surrounding roads including routes to Malaga can be difficult to drive on, however there is a supermarket close by 15 mins drive. Attractions nearby include Caminato del Rey. Escalares Arabes, the lake at El Chorro and Lobo Wolf park. Watch out for Ibex and vultures.
Some of the furnishings need updating and we would have benefitted from a welcome pack having arrived gone midnight with no means of getting food so late. The attractions bars and shops nearby need to be signposted with tourism leaflets etc at the villa as they can be difficult to find at first and could easily be missed. This would be a shame as the area is spectacular.
