“A lovely sea view from a great pool patio.”

We liked the view from the pool patio and the pool itself. The neighborhood was generally quiet and parking was easy. The outside dining area was lovely to sit at for dinner and the local beach was close enough to walk to. The aircon worked well and quietly.

To be improved

As we originally booked for 6 people, we were expecting either 6 sunbeds or a combination of 6 sunbeds and sun chairs combined. There were only 2 sunbeds and 2 chairs which wasn't really sufficient. The cushions for the outside pool furniture were stained, musty and ripped and I personally would not use them. Similarly, the box of outside play things and beach mats were so old that some of the mats had disintegrated, yet were still in the box. There was no washing line, just an airer, which again, for 6 people was not sufficient ( there was a tumble drier but this is very expensive way to dry things that easily could be dried outside!) The en-suite bathroom shower did not have a shower curtain so we did not use this ( having tried and decided not to spend ages trying to dry the room afterwards) - so we were all using the shower in the utility room. Further, there was building work every morning at the property just up the road from us - 8 am until about noon. As the area was SO quiet, the noise from the builders travelled clearly and I was really pleased we were not next door to them! The property was towards the top of a VERY long steep hill, which wasn't a problem as such but it would have been handy to be warned about it. There were ants everywhere, which probably comes with the territory and heat, but they did mean we were bitten a lot! Overall, the property was a lovely building with a great view but it lacked the finishing touches and attention to detail - cushions/ outside equipment should be removed if they are not up to standard. Rather than storing old 'rubbish', provide what is needed ie a sun brolly ( we bought one and had to leave it there!). The mattress protectors on the single beds did not fit properly and kept pinging off - again, attention to detail! The upstairs toilet cistern appeared to get stuck intermittently: the gate from the front to enter the pool area directly was SO salted up it couldn't be opened etc etc.

“Best villa ever !!!”

The best

The Villa has an incredible sea view the perfect view for a relaxing drink or meal Al fresco . We go away twice a year and the Villa was the best we have ever stayed in.Great pool nice and quiet . Taxi about 12 euros into town . Highly recommended by us … excellent .

“The view from terease is fabulous! Our stay was fantastic, villa is well equipped and clean.”

The view from the terrace is fabulous! I still smile when I remember it. We had a great breakfast and dinner time on this terrace. We traveled as family of 5 people and we had everything we needed - the villa is well equipped and clean. We had a car, so it was easy for us to get where we wanted - the beach, restaurants, shops. It would be quite sporty on foot as the house is on a hill.
