“Beautiful villa set in the grounds of a mature garden full of fruit trees complete with a barbecue and pizza oven. Great swimming pool and enough sun loungers for everyone . Four good size bedrooms each with air conditioning. Washing machine and dishwasher were an added bonus. T V , games and books also available. · Cons: Quite difficult to access down a very steep unmade road and not within walking distance of any shops so would definitely recommend having a car. The biggest problem we encountered was the barking of two dogs from a property close by, not only in the daytime but during the night 1.30am and very early morning 6.00am for example. This happened every day.”

To be improved

“Amazing family property”

The best

The villa exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. The pool and surrounding gardens we so good for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. The owner Antonio was a lovely man and very helpful

To be improved

Not being able to walk anywhere, had to use car or taxis. Wouldn’t put us off booking it again though

Fantastic place which I highly recommend. I will definitely stay here again. Antonio and Isabel were great and the villa is prefect for a big family. We were 6 adults and two small children. The pool is absolutely perfect.

Having recently stayed at ‘Casa Las Tinajas’ as a group of five Irish guests, we were extremely disappointed in the way an issue with the property was handled or should I stress, not handled at all. We booked the Villa for its four bedrooms, but very quickly realised one of the bedrooms was completely unusable due to a major water leak coming through the wall from the main bathroom. Not only was there a saturated wet wall (attached photos) but there was also black mould growing across the bedroom wall and the intense smell of damp and mould was beyond tolerable as it proceeded to get worse over the course of the week. I had no choice but to move my single bed into the upper landing, and quickly accept that this was to be my bedroom for the remaining ten days of my summer holiday. When we brought the owners attention to this issue on day two, they messaged back stating that they were very much aware of the issue with the damp and mould, and stated themselves that the problem was getting worse, but it wasn’t going to be addressed until the end of their rental season. When we asked why WE were not informed or shown the problem, their reply was, ‘they didnt realise they had to inform us of this issue!!!’ To say that we were disgusted at their lack of concern for our lack of a fourth bedroom is an understatement. We were neither visited again by the owners to review or discuss the matter, and we certainly were not even offered a reduction in the rent paid for a ruined holiday for a paying guest without a bedroom. These owners pride themselves as being part of the group “Casa Rural; Superior” and we paid nearly €4000 for the rent of the villa for our eleven day stay. Having stayed in many villa rentals over the years, while the villa has potential, it falls way short of its claim of being a “Casa Rural; Superior”.

“Very relaxing and comfortable stay in a spacious, well appointed villa.”

The best

A beautifully appointed villa in a convenient location if you have a car. There was a generous welcome pack of food items. The hosts met us at the villa and showed us round. There were a lot of locks and gates to contend with but it was in a quiet tucked away location so maybe this was necessary. We had a very enjoyable stay and would like to return.

To be improved

It would have been helpful if we didn’t have to buy washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags and other basics..we would have rather foregone some of the food items due to the inconvenience of realising things were missing.
