The best

The villa has a great position with good views down to Denia town and the sea. It has nice character and a good pool with a nice area surrounding it along with a good sized garden.

To be improved

The property should only be advertised as for a maximum of 6 people as the fourth 'bedroom' is a small cupboard with no window and two bunk beds squeezed into it with no room for storage. The fittings are very dated. The showerroom shower does not work properly as the holder is defective and the shower can only be used by holding the fitment above you. We had no water to the two outside showers or the sink by the bbq area. The owner was aware of this before we arrived and said it would be fixed on our second day but workmen only came out on our last day which was too late. Even then he asked us to turn the water on and see if it leaked still and if so to turn it off again. Something he should be doing himself. There is a broken pane of glass in the window behind the bbq seating area and one of the wall sockets in the kitchen is loose. Both of these are safety hazards along with damaged tiles on the pool steps which some of our party caught themselves on. The owner needs to improve his communication for arrival as both the wifi and alarm instructions were wrong, the alarm instructions provided in the property are for a former alarm which appears to have been replaced and the wifi code displayed in the villa was wrong. All in all disappointing particularly as the villa has the potential to be a lot better. A partial refund would have been appreciated.
