The best

Very spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Nice pool with easy access. Restaurants and black sand beach (with lifeguards )within 10 minute walk. No problem parking car in road opposite villa. Small supermarket near beach and larger one short drive away. Very good communication with owner, quick response to questions. Overall a great stay

The best

Villa Leonardo is the perfect location for a family holiday. We spent a week there with our 3 teenagers so having 3 bathrooms worked well. The villa was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary kitchen equipment. There was everything we needed including hairdryer, speaker, washing machine and tumble dryer. The heated pool was a nice temperature (we just put the cover on overnight to keep it warm). The villa is well situated for cafes/bars/restaurants and beaches. We didn’t hire a car and found the local taxis cheaper than Uber for the days we traveled to Siam Park and Santa Cruz. We took a day trip Whale watching from Los Gigantes just a 30 minute walk from the villa and stopped at the Lido for a swim on the way home. The villa is situated on a street that does get a bit of traffic, this did not bother us in the slightest but if you were wanting total quiet this might be something to consider. There was a public outdoor gym and play area just across the road which our kids loved! We had a perfect week and would highly recommend the villa - 5 stars from us!

The villa is perfect for a family. Location, comfort, facilities. It’s a little hilly and can be little noisy on the road on busy evenings but it’s not a big issue. The pool is warm and there are plenty of social spaces around the villa. It’s a quick 5/10 min walk to the beach with bars and restaurants

To be improved

We had a couple of broken tiles in the pool that cut a foot but were informed that they were going to be fixed as soon as we reported it. If I had to be picky there is no longer a pool table like there is in the pictures. But to be fair it’s not listed in the description

“Problems on Tuesday Wednesday, Friday & Bad”
The best

The villa is stunning, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The mattresses are very comfy but we had a couple of hiccups. The pool was warm on Thursday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Owner communicated politely, if not always quickly. Customer service at Booking.com compensated us for the problems

😏Tuesday check in. In late afternoon, a man came to the villa and said something about a problem with the fuse board. He did something, we don’t know what. Pool was cold. The internet signal was really poor. 😏Wednesday-Pool was cold and unusable. My son’s online meetings were very difficult with the bad internet. I got in touch with the owner and they came to check on the pool. 😏Friday-The power was off till mid afternoon. The shutters were stuck down, the only exit from the villa was the front door, the rest was in darkness. We had to use torches when we went for a shower with cold water. We couldn’t cook, the pool was cold again. Fridge and freezer were off and full of food. Our plans to go out for our son’s birthday had to be cancelled as we felt that the responsible thing to do was wait until the power came back on. We asked the owners if we could have a later check-out next tuesday to make up for the lost time. Our flights were not until evening. The owner said they would give it some thought and get back to us. 😄Saturday-pool was warm again. No response from the owner regarding checkout. 😄Sunday- pool was warm. Still no response regarding checkout. I messaged the owner again. That evening they let u us know that we would have to be gone by 10:30am 😏. 😏Monday-noisy building work at their villa next door. All in all we had 3 useful days at the villa out of the 7 we had paid for. We asked for suggestions on somewhere we could spend the day after checkout, the owner said she had rung a hotel near the airport to see if we could spend a couple of hours there. The owner said that the hotel said no. We drove to said hotel on our last day anyway and were made welcome. I’m not convinced that any phone call was made. We sat by the hotel pool and bought coffee and lunch before heading to the airport.
