Service was satisfactory, aligning with the hotel's rating.
A perfect break in a very peaceful location.
The pool and surrounding flora added to the ambiance.
Everything inside was just right for us.
A great escape, recommended for peace and privacy.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
“Nice house if your plan is to stay there most of te time, but needs renovation.”
Nice house, garden and swimming pool. Javea Holidays was very helpful and fixed some of te issues diligently.
It's very difficult to arrive by car (very narrow streets where only one car can pass), quite impossible to walk to the town (very steep road), which makes it very tiring to walk around. The house is old and shows it. Parking the car is tricky. You have to enter through the back garden door (it has an old chain that takes time to unlock and lock) and exit through the front one (little bit easier to open, but of course not automatic). The air conditioning works, but it is old and not the best one (very cold or not cold at all). The wifi works most of the time, but it is very slow, and the mobile phone reception is very poor.
“Superb Villa, up a mountain road with a stunning garden and pool but you need mosquito repellent.”
The villa was a lovely size for 5 adults, the pool and outside areas were fabulous. Good seating and outside dining facilities. Wonderful to have AC and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Two great inside seating/ lounge areas too. Views were good through the trees.
Very difficult to find the villa, no name on the outside of the villa and were told to look for no. 22, the villa house number was 228....so we wasted nearly an hour trying to find it. Stopping to ask locals on three occasions. It was 9.30pm at night, so we were losing the light too. We have since been told by the Villa management team that 228 refers to its reference on google maps.....wish we had been told this. A Villa name plaque would have been super helpful. We had ants in the kitchen and one en-suite but a spray was in the kitchen cupboard, so kept spraying to keep them away from our food.....which we had to keep in high cupboards. All 5 of us got lots of mosquito bites .....we assume from sitting outside, the garden was beautiful but full of trees and bushes. We were bitten in the day and night time. Three of us have had to go to English Pharmacists on our return to the UK to get medicated cream for the itching and reduce the severity of the bites. I rarely get bitten abroad, so this wasn’t something I planned for....I didn’t take bite cream with me although we did apply repellent .....this didn’t appear to help much.
