Villa Llimona

Well if you enjoy a property full of cockroaches, rude staff, a swarm of cats next door that have kittens and you have to clear up the mess, chairs that break, fumigation fumes, faulty jet bath and cracked tiles, this is the place for you! Ws arrived at 2am and as soon as we entered property it had a really odd smell, then under my bed, and in sons room were cockroaches. It later turned out it had just been fumigated, so we spent a night breathing in fumes surrounded by cockroaches. We reached out to Villa company and I asked for a cleaner to come. They insisted the place was clean, but from the level of bugs it was clear that actually it wasn't! After our insistence 2 people did turn up, they didn't speak English, but it was very clear from attitude that they thought 15 or so cockroaches wasn't a big issue and they then showed me air freshener I could spray remaining bugs with! Later they admitted that so many were appearing as it had been fumigated and they were coming out to die. They whole holiday, every day, we found more and more. It's not fun checking beds for bugs every night and fishing them out of pool. Luckily we found a store nearby that sold food clips, so we could try to protect our food. Shortly after my husband sat on a stool in the kitchen and it collapsed. He's not a heavy man, but upon more inspection, it was clear the chairs were held together with masking tape. I reached out to owners and I got a load of abuse, voice notes telling us to leave! I contacted booking.com for help but as they couldn't refund me for 7-10days, we had no choice but to stop contacting villasmar at risk of being made to leave. We tried our best to enjoy rest of week, but we had the worst experience when some of the cats for next door had kittens at the villa. My son loved it, only to find the next morning they had been attacked, and quite frankly a horror scene awaited us in the morning. We were left to clean up ourselves.
