We arrived in the evening and there was nothing left for us in the property - not even one bottle of water. We had to go out straightaway to find a shop and buy basics. Most properties leave a ‘welcome pack’ and don’t remove all the condiments that that previous residents must have bought and left behind.

“Great first visit to Menorca, would definitely recommend!”

Lovely spacious villa in quiet residential area. Private outside pool area, loungers and outside seating. Villa well equipped and comfortable. There were supermarkets and a couple of restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed the short walk to the marina to eat at the many restaurants there. Beach lovely, but did get very busy. Getting around by bus was also very easy, the trip to Cuitadella is worth doing. It's a gorgeous traditional city with lots of sights, shops and restaurants. Host was very good at communicating everything. He gave us recommendations and also checked to see if we were ok or needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay.

To be improved

We had to vacate villa at 11am and our flight wasn't until 11pm that night. Host was very helpful giving us information to store luggage in the city Mahon. But it would be useful to have somewhere within Cala n' Bosch to store cases/bags. Maybe an agreement with local hotel to pay to store luggage. If we stayed again, we would probably also hire a car, as taxis were very expensive to and from airport for a family of 5.

“A super relaxing property!”

The location was quiet but quite easy to get into the centre by either walking or the bus. It was a great base to explore!
