“Great villa,very poor host”

The best

We liked the size and style of the villa and the extensive outdoor spaces.The pool was a great size too. The location is good although very difficult to find

To be improved

The host was not at all helpful with regards to some issues we had at the villa. The upstairs wc wouldnt flush,the shower head was broken,the key fob didnt work for the gate to access off road parking,there was nowhere identified externally to dispose of house waste. On raising these issues the host requested that I purchase a new shower head and batteries for the gate remote,fitted both and that they would reimburse me. This I did not do replying that as the host this was their responsibility. I never heard from them again for the duration of our stay. We also experienced an issue with ants which were everywhere. Please keep all food sealed and in a safe place. We kept bread,cereal etc in the microwave. To summarise the villa is beautiful,a car is most definitely required,sat nav is unlikely to take you to the villa and there is quiet a noise of traffic from the nearby A7 main road. The host was not helpful at all but we didnt let this affect our stay. A better host is required to further enhance the villa experience
