Villa Luna Lanzarote by Villa Plus

Pool was not heated. No refinements nothing to make it soft/warm or homely in any way. Not so much as a picture or a clock anywhere.

None of the following items were critical to us, but may be helpful: - The topic "heated pool" is, as already described elsewhere, very optimistically formulated (use of a thermal foil). - Parasol and cushions could not be found. Well, an umbrella also represents a certain danger due to the wind. - A cutting board more could not hurt at times. I bring dishwasher and washing machine tabs usually but just for a surface cleaning a provided cleaning agent would be helpful. The house is really rented completely empty in this regard (no soap, no shower gel, no spices,...). It is not unusual but you should know.

Some of kitchen utilities / equipment could be changed. One of 3 AC didn't work, but it didn't bother our stay much.

On the Villaplus page you see ‘heated pool’ but only if you hover over it can you read that pool isn’t heated during certain months, I wouldn’t have booked it knowing it wasn’t heated or that I didn’t have that option This pool needs it during summer months as well. One of the A/C’s didn’t work from . The Villa Plus team was very responsive and quick in sending the maintenance man to check, they even brought a fan in the meantime and said they would try to fix it the following monday, but they didn’t come back for this. The pool is one level (doesn’t go from shallow to deeper), so it is difficult to just stand in the water (unless you are 6 ft tall) and because of the gates there’s not much place to sit on the borders. I think the gates are a good idea for children’s safety but it would be great if there was an option to detach it when needed. Apart from this, one of the plexiglas panels fell one night because of the wind, and a patch of tiles also just suddenly came off. The electricity went away a couple of times (fuse jumped) the VillaPlus person I communicated with said that it was a Lanzarote issue and to try not to use many appliances simultaneously. We didn’t, we specifically tried to be careful to avoid this happening again but it happened various times during one day, and suddenly everything My kids got bitten by bed bugs, they need to check the mattresses. Various drinking glasses were chipped. This is a nice villa but needs some things fixed up.
