Beautiful location, really peaceful and great weather.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
A lovely and peaceful experience overall, with just a few areas for improvement.
Recommendable value for money considering the peaceful surroundings.
Enjoyed dining in the glass conservatory, despite limited food options in the area.
The pool was very clean, but the noisy aqua pump disrupted the otherwise peaceful setting.
“Me and my wife did enjoy our stay and overall the villa is good it’s just needs some TLC to get it to the brilliant leve”
The views and garden area
Strong Smell of mould in the kitchen this was found behind the draw units had to wash all the utensils and pans. Bed and sofa (both hard) wasn’t the greatest but they both did the job. The bedroom door rubbed along the tiles which was made difficult to fully open causing noise in the night when opening and closing. Toilet pan isn’t fixed to the floor properly so move when in use.
“Exceptional”
The garden and pool were beautiful and there were stunning views.
Tricky access down a steep track.
“Magical”
The villa is in an outstanding location. It’s difficult to show in photos or describe just how beautiful the valley is. It really is something you have to see for yourself. The friendly owner Manolo has created a beautiful, cosy retreat surrounded by a lovely garden and pool area for relaxing and the villa, garden and pool we’re absolutely immaculate We especially loved the daily calls from the Donkey somewhere in the valley.
There was nothing that we didn’t like about Villa Manolo but, if we could add anything to improve the stay, it would be good to have some signs on the main road, and the road leading to the villa as it’s a difficult place to find and you don’t quite expect it to be so far off the beaten track. It was lovely to have the little welcome backer of wine, olives and water but it would have been really handy if there had been some basic condiments such as salt and pepper. Some washing up liquid, and cloths etc to help us to keep the villa clean. The wasps and mosquitoes are a bit of a pain so make sure that you take plenty of repellent but, don’t let it put you off visiting as it truly is a magical place.
“Despite a few niggles we had a wonderful stay and would book again. Ideal Honeymoon escape.”
self catering. Lovely, peaceful, restful location.
Issues with lock on gate, found out we weren't first to report this. Could do to heat pool . We went early September and the water temp was very cold. Day bed available for use around pool but could only be put poolside by removing doors on conservatory. Had to contact the owner whenever we needed the day bed to be moved. Bi-fold doors would resolve the issue.

Very peaceful
Outdoor furniture, poor quality towels and lack of basics in kitchen eg condiments, washing powder, etc
