“Stunning property, fantastic location unfortunately let down by the company who managed the property”

The best

The property is stunning, particularly the ground floor and outside space. The property has fantastic views and is in a great location only 3 minute walk to the tram line which we used most days. We would stay in this property again as the only big let down was due to the company managing the property. Good WIFI. we were 2 families (4 adults and 3 Children) and there is easily enough room to share the property with 3 more people.

To be improved

As our flight was delayed we had to pay a 50 Euro fee for a 'late check in'. As we were paying for someone to meet us at the property we expected more than just 'here's your keys, sign here' but that's what we got! If we were to be shown around the property and how everything worked then I can understand but this didn't happen. I do not know why the keys weren't left in a lock box and us given a code. Very strange and an unnecessary 50 Euro cost for any guests checking in past their normal opening hours. We did ask where the driveway was to park the cars, they didn't know but messaged us the following day with a code. 2 days in we asked about the washing machine as it did not work and we planned on washing during the week, after chasing for 3 days our messages were not acknowledged until Friday and a lady with no idea on how to fix it (not her fault) was sent around to investigate on Saturday. She couldn't fix it and by that point it was too late for us to use as we were leaving the next day so we asked her leave and not to worry so that we didn't waste any more time on our final day. Disappointing as had they sent someone around to fix on Tuesday/Wednesday there would have been no issue. There was no booklet or instructions given to us about the house, surrounding area, check out procedures, what to do with rubbish etc which we felt was poor compared to other places we have stayed. Although not horrendous the cleanliness of the property could have been better. The house was perfect, how we were looked after wasn't.
