Location good for walking to rubicon marina ,roomy accomadation ,not overlooked

The villa is in a great location for Playa Blanca near the Marina and the natural beaches of Papagayo. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. Their are 2 good local supermarkets with plenty of fresh fruit and salads. You don’t need a car. The Villa is a good size and comfortable. To have your own private garden with pool is a bonus. The owners are friendly and helpful but important to establish contact with them before arrival so that any issues can be dealt promptly.

We stayed at Villa Maria Luisa as two couples for ten days. It was our first stay in Playa Blanca. We usually stay in Puerto del Carmen but decided to try somewhere different. We were not disappointed. The correspondence with the host was excellent. We were allowed access to the property earlier than advertised, which meant that our first day could be put to more use. The villa was clean and tidy and had everything that you could need. We made use of the pool despite it being cold; but you soon got used to it. The air conditioning was a blessing as the outside temperature was warmer than it usually is for the time of year. The villa is on the outskirts of Playa Blanca. If you want bars and restaurants it is a 10 minute walk to the marina and a good 20 minute walk to the main strip. Just around the corner from the villa is a British supermarket and also a super Dino. We used the latter as the prices were better. There is also an Indian restaurant and Antonio's Cafe a 2 minute walk from the villa. Both are good. We frequented Antonio's Cafe mostly where the staff are friendly and the food is good. We would definitely recommend this villa as you are away from the hustle and bustle but still have easy access to it.

Great value for money. Property is in need of a bit of a refurb in some areas but overall the important parts were good. Comfy beds, lovely outside area and great communication with the owner.
