Spacious room with great decor, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a huge variety of options. The owner was attentive, helpful and made us feel very welcome. We definitely recommended it !!!

Private villa on the back of owners own property. Owner goes very much for the presentation so everything looks lovely and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and attractive.

I do not know how this place gets 5* reviews! Free parking? (the only reason we booked this property) - on the street! we insisted on parking( after we eventually got the owner to come to the gate) and were allowed behind gates on the owners drive but they wanted to keep our keys so they could move our car when they needed to! Not happening! The owners only speak and understand English when they want to. The place is like Fort Knox which made me feel very uncomfortable - you have keys for the outside gate, the house, the bedroom (which was in a little corridor) and for the bedroom. On the way in that evening, the gate would not open and when I eventually got the key to work and pushed the gate, I cut my finger open on the very sharp iron. I almost fainted and there was no-one around to get help from or some first aid. We tried to contact the owner and I sent her a picture of what had happened but did not get a response. If I could add audio I would. The owners then decided to let their kids have a pool party with a lot of screaming and very loud music right outside our window. At 9.30pm I asked the owner when this would stop and she was very rude. She said she had no idea what my problem was and did not understand why I sent her a picture of my cut finger (I sent her the messages in Spanish!) After 30 mins she and her husband came to the room and said if I was in Spain then I should expect parties into the night as the weather is hot! - she said her kids always have pool parties and finish around 10-10.30pm. I asked her for a First Aid kit to bandage my finger which was still bleeding and very painful and she shrugged! I eventually got a make do plaster! The breakfast was all show! Some cold ham, cheese, yoghurt, kiwi, tomatoes and a cold, softish boiled egg. She did not know what decaffeinated coffee was so I had to go without. She came with some toast which was white, cold and so hard it was almost impossible to eat. Looked pretty but that was it.

The best

The host was excellent. She welcomes her guests with warmth. She has elegant touch in her place for its' decoration, cleanness and comfort. We did not use the pool, because of the season, but the garden, the pool area looked great and very beautiful. We also parked at the villa's parking area.

To be improved

The breakfasts were good, with a charming homemade feel. While the service was friendly and personalized, it could be slightly more efficient at times. Having a few hot breakfast options readily available in the dining room, like scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, and perhaps a carafe of coffee on each table, would be a great addition. Overall, it's a lovely place, and the host's kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay special.
