“A disappointing stay marred by sewage odors, insect infestations, and broken facilities, with an uncomfortable checkout”
To be improved

Unfortunately, our stay at Villa Minerva in Ronda fell short of expectations. While the location offered countryside views, several issues significantly impacted our experience. The villa had persistent plumbing problems resulting in unpleasant sewage odors, particularly on the ground floor. After recent rainfall, we encountered numerous insects throughout the property, including in bedrooms. Additionally, the shower was broken, which the owners acknowledged but couldn't repair during our stay due to holiday scheduling. When we raised these concerns, the owners offered an extra night's accommodation, but this wasn't feasible with our travel schedule. The checkout process was also uncomfortable as the staff became somewhat confrontational when discussing these issues. On the positive side, the property is situated in a scenic rural area with potential for a peaceful stay. However, maintenance issues need addressing before I could recommend this villa to other travelers seeking a comfortable countryside retreat.
