It has been a some place in its day, but time is catching up and is in need of a bit TLC now,very surprised there was no welcome pack on arrival which one would expect at the prices, while profit is not a dirty word I feel not to have a bootle of water, milk, some fruit and a cheap bottle of plonk at a cost of probably around 15euros, I arrived at 7 at night in the dark no idea where a shop or pub was walked for 40 minutes found nothing, surely a little drawing showing where the above if would cost nothing, villa advertised with flat screen television come on 🤷‍♂️this was about as thick as a brick and only Spanish was available to watch which is ridiculous, surely a proper new flat screen with fire stick wouldn’t break the bank 🤷‍♂️I can’t believe everyone who goes speaks Spanish with the above you could cater for every language and justify your prices,there was dog which was on a rope outside the window and barked from 7 in the morning till night, I did get this sorted after 2 days, the worst thing which completely spoiled my holiday was the infestation of ants 🐜 I lost four meals through this was reimbursed for the first one, last thing, the suite was disgusting 🤮 really dirty needs a really good clean 🧼 which shouldn’t break the bank, it astonishes me no one sees this

“Beautiful, spacious Villa in quiet location”

The best

Superb location. For us it was close to friends and a short walk to the village bar. It was quiet apart from the usual dogs barking at times which is pretty much normal over there. Accommodation was spacious and had a well equipped kichen. Wifi worked well.

To be improved

Tv was only spanish so would take a laptop or firestick to keep the kids entertained. No cleaning or sheet changes but washing machine provided so you can do it yourself if required. The water went off a couple of times, seemed to be when they watered the garden. They switched it back on quickly if asked.

“A beautiful villa with a very attentive host”

The best

We arrived at villa Miramar and were immediately stunned by the appearance of the villa, it was sat onto of a private driveway overlooking the entirety of Playa Honda, the airport and a beautiful sea view. The property was easy to access with a lock box beside the front door. The interior of the villa was lovely, a homely feel with 4 bedrooms, walk in dressing room, 2 bathrooms (one of which is not pictured that has a giant sunken bathtub and standalone shower), dining area, large kitchen with an outdoor courtyard with a washing line and sink and large living area. The kids immediately jumped into the pool (freezing but refreshing after being in the hot sun), while the adults set up sunbathing - there were plenty of sunbeds to choose from and lots of seating areas outside, there is also a parasol for shade if needed. The host was very responsive to any messages, the breeze had blown some debris into the pool during our stay, the host had someone at the property within 5 minutes of asking to clean the pool and also ordered us taxis to the airport after we struggled with the language barrier to book them ourselves. We could not have asked for anything more nor did we need anything. The location of the villa is perfect for a quiet holiday - far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to take a bus ride should you want to experience the night life. There is a local shop within a 15 minute walk that stocks all your essentials which we used almost daily. There are also 2 bus stops located just at the end of the road with buses that take you right down into Playa Honda for just under €2
