Villa Mumare

The air conditioning didn’t work first night. The kitchen air con unit continually leaked despite me phoning the management company a few times. Person did come out but was unable to fix. Promised a person would be out following day but didn’t come. Double bed in downstairs bedroom - headboard fell off and couldn’t be refitted to wall. Sunbeds - some were broken, uncomfortable and needed cleaned b4 use.

The villa has not been well maintained and looks tired and was unclean. Items were broken and the aircon was leaking in several rooms. The water pump makes a loud noise when hot water is in use which causes disturbance in the annex. The villa is below standard and not good value for money.

- Air conditioning is erratic, we couldn't get it to work consistently at all, either too hot or too cold and just switched on and off randomly. Bit of a worry for the kids rooms overnight. - Whilst the place was perfectly clean, there was a smell in some of the bedrooms and bathrooms. A musty, damp smell like the place needed a good airing. Our clothes and things carried the smell back home. - We had to pay a fee for a second cot. - Some of the paint on the walls could do with being touched up. - Some basics like toilet rolls, soap, washing up liquid etc would be great. We had to buy all of them on arrival and as well as the inconvenience, I hate to think that they will all be dumped during cleaning for the next guests to have to buy all over again!
