“Nice garden for sunbathing but disappointing and worn overall”

We enjoyed the chaise double sun lounger, garden furniture was good overall, comfortable and varied. The garden was great to sunbathe in during the day and very quiet except for the family of birds living in the tree. The garden area also looked very nice during the day (except the pool cover). It’s not a bad villa at all but we just stayed in a much nicer, newer villa owned by an individual last year. The difference was clear.

The WiFi was non existent for the first couple of days so I reached out to them and was told to check the router, when this is a business I believe this should all be working correctly regardless. However I searched for the router and couldn’t find it anywhere in the villa. My partner then had to move the sofa and pry open a plastic access panel on a fake wall to find the router inside! Unbelievable that this is expected from a customer. The WiFi box had complete different details to those provided on the booking. I didn’t expect the bathroom to be fantastic from the listing photos but the bathrooms felt very poor. Cheaper cosmetic work has been undertaken in the villa of decorating and changing furniture which gives a good first impression but the bathrooms and kitchen are well overdue to be renovated. The bathroom taps and tub in particular show a lot of age related wear and stains. We didn’t plan on cooking whilst there but the kitchen is very tiny. Around the pool also shows wear. The development looks modern but is clearly older. The lack of space would be an issue if staying for longer or as a whole family I.e. the wardrobe doors do not fully open in the bedroom, they hit against the bed. The entire villa is incredibly small. No ambient lighting in the garden. The villa we stayed at last year had a fabulous garden which was fully lit at night to sit outside. The pool cover is not shown in any of the photos listed here, it doesn’t look very nice and is also heavily worn. The black stones surrounding the garden area were an inconvenience, everytime you move from the sun bed, want to get in the pool etc you need to put your flip flops back on. Our pool towels were not changed for the entire stay. The pool was also not cleaned/ treated the entire stay. Overall, this stay was just really disappointing for us compared to previous stays elsewhere.

“Ideal family villa.”

The best

Lovely decor, comfy bed, kitchen was well equipped and the pool was great. Loved the views from the terrace in the evening and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet / safe. The ideal base for us whilst on holiday with our 4 month old baby.

To be improved

The bathrooms are quite basic, but it wasn’t really a problem at all.

“A great villa at a good price. We liked everything about this one (our 4th in Lanzarote).”

The best

A lovely villa with a very comfy bed and pillows. A nice lounge and kitchen. The bathrooms were also very good with decent showers. Private drive and garage. The garden is private with a really warm pool.

To be improved

There’s steps to the Villa (about 15) so not ideal if you’d struggle with that. Otherwise it’s a really nice villa at a fair price.
