Fantastic location! 10 mins to centre. Quiet residential area. Spacious. Nice pool.

To be improved

Cleaning was not the best. dated furniture/decor. Parasol needs replacing as collapses on breeze. Sunbeds are dirty/not very comfortable & need replacing. Pool cover disintegrating & needs replacing. Fridge section of FF freezes, then melts with a lot of water pooling at the bottom & on shelves ruining food. Needs fixing/replacing.

Tired property in general, second hand hotel towels and loungers give a very dated appearance. Plastic bed protectors are very low rent and don’t make for comfort. Kitchen needs treated for ants. Pool was good and clean.

“A very relaxing week in the sun.”
The best

Villa Pilar is a very well equipped modern villa which was very clean on our arrival. The pool is a good size and lovely temperature, and there was also ample outside space with two separate outside seating areas, plus sunbeds and also chairs for children. There was also an extensive 'library' of books available beside the TV. It is about 10 minutes walk to the main town of Playa Blanca which has many restaurants and supermarkets. Rubbish and recycling is placed in the bins at the end of the road by the Tennis Courts. The owner answered our questions straight away and minor faults (blown lightbulbs) were fixed very quickly. Overall, an excellent week and a villa we would return to.

To be improved

You couldn't improve the villa, but there were quite a few mosquitos about in the area which it's handy to be aware of.
