Villa Pousadoiro

The villa is very well presented,.spotlessly clean and has everything a family needs for holidays ..the outside area is lovely with lots of seating , sunbeds are very comfortable and the pool is cleaned regularly. The bedrooms are nicely furnished, plenty of space and the additional room upstairs allows for teenagers to have space to chill..for younger children lots of toys and even a lovely cot! Location is idea & veryl peaceful, Close to supermarket,.15 mins walk to rubicon marina.... Finally our host Eva was amazing, always willing to.help and nothing was too much trouble.....

The owner was absolutely amazing, letting us know if we needed anything at all she was only a message away. Her villa was absolutely outstanding and honestly can't offer a single complaint.

We arrived home yesterday from a week in the lovely Villa Pousadoiro. We are a family of five with three teenage girls aged 17, 14 & 13. Our first impression was that the villa is even nicer than in the pictures. The villa is modern, spotlessly clean, really well equipped and with lots of helpful/thoughtful things provided - e.g hand soap in bathrooms, extra toilet rolls, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner etc. It has two Alexa smart speakers downstairs, TVs in all bedrooms with Netflix etc. It is advertised as a two bed property but when the sofa bed is set up, it is within its own room, so gives the feel of a third bedroom (although no air con in there, and the doors are glass). For us as a family with three teenage children that was a brilliant bonus to discover on arrival as we had expected one would be sleeping in the living room. (If you were travelling with younger children there were lots of toys & equipment you would find useful too). The kitchen is really well equipped, a really thoughtful welcome pack of milk, juice etc was there on arrival (which was great as we arrived late & headed straight out for a meal, instead of the supermarket!) and the host, Eva, was available by WhatsApp for any questions we had, offering any support we needed. The communication was brilliant (and lovely Eva even arranged to send me back something I very stupidly left in the villa… thank you Eva!) The pool gets sunshine all day long with a little shady spot by the back door from mid afternoon if you want to cool down. It was really windy during our stay but this actually made it really refreshing to sit out, lovely. Location wise, the villa is a 10-15 min walk down to the marina, a straightforward and well lit route, we had no problem walking there & back in the evening. From reading other reviews we had thought we might get a taxi sometimes but we really didn’t need to.

Very spacious and modern. 5 minutes walk from the marina. Host was excellent.

Fantastic design with large windows able to open all the way to allow and indoor-outdoor feel. Lots of amenities too.
