“Family friendly, well equipped mountain views villa in great location!”

The best

Villa is very well equipped- terrace with mountain views is very large plenty of seating for outdoor eating. The pool was a good size & very clean and outdoor shower is a definite bonus it has warm and cold water too! Wi-Fi was good too! Villa is well positioned and pool gets sun all day! Felt very homely and welcoming place to stay. Very secure and plenty of space ! Would definitely return for longer and would recommend for a family to stay.

To be improved

Couple of minor issues but didn’t affect our stay - 2 of the sun loungers round pool need replacing - dogs in nearby villa a bit noisy one night. Air conditioning in main en-suite bedroom is not as powerful as lounge or other two bedrooms might need servicing.

“Countryside villa”

The best

Large villa, huge terrace, lovely gardens, great swimming pool and plenty of room around it and a great bbq/ dining outdoor area. Well equipped kitchen, great size bathrooms, firm but comfortable beds. A car is a must ! The villa is exactly 30 mins from malaga airport, but our transfer driver could not find it, so Juan directed him to the villa where he was waiting for us to check in. Al haurin el grande is only 5 mins in the car, but you cannot walk there because of its location. We had a great taxi man but at a cost We had an amazing stay, 6 friends chilling, we went to Mijas one day which is a 45 min drive, beautiful white pueblo, then spent the rest of the time at the villa. We would stay again with a car

To be improved

Had to keep the windows shut at night because of the local dogs and cockrels, I will say the double glazing is great Only 5 sunbeds and no parasols. There is none to hardly any shade around the pool, you can find shade from the outdoor kitchen wall where we moved the table and chairs to We did have 32° heat our whole stay ! Villa has a septic tank and the main bathroom was smelly, old school spain, cant flush paper, wasn't a great hardship. Juan did take some of our rubbish for us but we had to stop at a skip on the way back to the airport to get rid of the rest None of the above would stop me going again
