The best

It's a nice comfortable, well equipped, spacious family home. There are restaurants nearby and the beaches are within easy walking distance. Comfortable beds, good shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortably accommodated our party of six in the main living area and dining room (conservatory). Great having the garage with the second fridge and lots of storage throughout. Clean throughout. Pleasant and tidy outside space. Quiet at nighttime.

To be improved

We are three couples who chose this house specifically because it advertised three bathrooms as we do not like to share. As it turned out there were only two bathrooms available and a ground floor toilet. We were not very happy. A 500€ deposit paid in cash but returned after the rental by bank transfer we thought was a bit steep and unjust. 50€ extra for a dog when it said that dogs accepted. An extra charge paid for electricity although we didn't see anything about this pertaining to our stay in the small print on Booking.com. We were surprised to pay anything extra as the weather had been great and the heaters were rarely used. Perhaps it was the pool pump which was running most of the time even though it was, of course, too cold to use the pool. We occasionally experienced flickering lights in the conservatory and strange dips in power noticeably when using the microwave. We checked the smoke alarms and found the one on the upstairs landing had no battery and the one by the kitchen was also not working. Strangely the property has off-road parking on it's drive but the gates have been set up so they don't open. The kitchen is well equipped but a bit tired.
