“Superb spacious villa, beautiful”

The best

Just as advertised in photos. Pool area great size, could have done with some extra sun loungers as there was 5 of us and only 4 loungers, the villa sleeps more people. The sun loungers could do with updating. About 5-10 minute walk to the right when coming out the villa to Quesada main street. Lots of drinking glasses and plates in the kitchen, although no wine glasses and some of the plates were very fine china type so frightened of smashing them. 2 towels per person provided for your stay, could have done with a bigger towel to get showered as they were small. There is a washing machine in the garage which was handy for washing the towels. Used the bbq by the pool on a couple of occasions, great addition when you fancy staying in for the evening. Table and a couple of chairs by the bbq/sink area, table and 6 chairs on the terrace outside the living room and table and couple chairs on terrace outside the main bedroom, main bedroom is ensuite which is a good size. We had a fantastic relaxing holiday and would definitely stay here again.

To be improved

On arrival there was a dead rat at the side of the villa which looked like it had been there for a while as it was covered in flies and had been half eaten. The pool was not fit to use upon arrival, it was full of scum and needed cleaning. I did message the management company and a lady came out the same day to see us. My partner had to pick the rat up as she was reluctant to, she also said she would get the pool guys out the following morning to sort the pool...which she did. They arrive early and cleaned the pool and it was great after that. Didn't spoil our holiday but things like this should be done prior to guests arrival. Everytime we tried to cook in the oven the electricity would trip out. We thought maybe due to being overloaded as the pool pump has to be on, air con was on, fans, lights. Switched all off and luckily my partner knew how to reset the electrics on the garage. It still tripped when everything switched off. This is something for the management company to look into or feed back to the owner. The light in the main door area flickers all night even when switched off and the light in the living room does not work. This property was new to the rental system so Its not unusual that there are a few things to look at and improve on
