Villa Samui

The pool table isn't the best. There is a lean on it which ruins the game a little bit. The bin for the evening was a little unclear and no bin bags were included in the villa. We had to buy our own and had to buy additional toilet paper for our stay. The fuse had tripped for the air conditioning units but we got that sorted quick enough. The outdoor shower attached to one of the bedrooms had no hot water running into it. That was a shame as we were looking forward to that experience. The instructions for the pool seem to be sun bleached and we were unable to follow them. The worst part of the trip was waiting for checkin. The checkin time was already late in the day at 4 pm and then we had to wait another 1.5 hours from that point for their cleaning team to finish from the previous renters. As we were travelling with a small baby it really put me off renting villas in the future, there just isn't the certainty that a hotel provides. You're not even allowed drop off your bags and head to the beach while they work. The location is both good and bad. By car you are near everything but to walk places you're some distance from the nearby Lidl and also the beach. For example the Lidl is a 7 min drive but a 50 min walk.

More attention could have been paid to the kitchen. Chipped glasses, cracked and chipped crockery and a used kitchen sponge on the work surface when we arrived. I cleaned out the cutlery drawer which had crumbs in it.

cockroaches horrible noise everyday from AC? even not used, or pool (?) we could not use downstair bedroom because of constant noise
