“Charming villa in Nerja”

What a lovely villa at Nerja! We had a lovely 3 days stay at Villa Sandra. It is a charming property with pretty garden and flowers with birds calling. It has a restful vibe and you can also spy the sea at a distance. The house itself is split into three accommodation. The pool and laundry facilities were shared but we didn't feel it intruded on our privacy. Handover for the keys were easy. We contacted the property manager via Whatsapp, updating them on our arrival times and was met a lovely rep who handed us the keys and showed us around the property. The kitchen was well equipped, the showers fantastic and the airconditioning is amazing for the summer heat. There is no dedicated parking onsite but there's plenty of on-road parking outside the villa. It is on a slope though. Location-wise, it's near to town centre and Playa Burriana. It is a 20-min downhill walk and a climb back up but not a problem if you have a car. We parked at the covered parking near the beach but if you come early, there's plenty of on-road parking. The apartment is also about 8 min to Nerja Caves which I highly recommend.

To be improved

The apartment is environment friendly and only provided us with one travel bottle of shower gel and shampoo for 5 of us and no kitchen towels. What would be good is if they could tell us to bring our own kitchen towels and toiletries. We could have stopped on the way to get our supplies first. Other than that, it's all good. I could've requested for more from the friendly rep but decided not to since we are only staying for 2 nights. There is Mercadona within walking distance where we got some supplies.

A very spacious apartment in a very quiet neighbourhood. Lovely pool when you didn’t feel like a trek to the beach.

To be improved

Little gripes …. The bedding could have been a bit better - duvet in the wardrobe had no cover and was quite stained. Towels were a bit old. Only just enough crockery & cutlery for 4 people. No sieve or colander. Problem with ants in the en-suite, but not elsewhere.

The best

Lovely large, clean villa with aircon and good size shared pool. Great comms and service from owners. Nice quiet location close to supermarket and 20min walk (descent) to beaches and pretty town centre.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, very well equipped, lots of towels, bedding etc. Kitchen had everything we needed! Lovely quiet area for families.A short 15-20 min walk down town but a bit of a hike back with prams so bear that in mind. But a very handy spin back with the car, plenty of parking in town (free and paid). Beaches were great with plenty eating options near by. (15 min walk to closet beach Playa Burriana)

Nothing really that I did not like, washing machines were shared but not really an issue.

It was an uphill walk back from the beach but we got taxis easily enough and the staff even phoned us a taxi.
