1. The Villa: While the villa was clean and comfortable, we were shocked to find a camera installed inside. We were not informed about this in advance. When I raised the issue, we were told it was only there as a security measure and supposedly only activates during an alarm. However, this is completely unacceptable—guests should be clearly informed about any surveillance devices beforehand, and that wasn’t the case. 2. Checkout Experience: The checkout time was 10 a.m., while our flight wasn’t until 6 p.m. We requested a late checkout, but it was refused. As a result, we had to spend a long time outside with our luggage, waiting for our flight with no access to the villa. 3. The Area: I do not recommend this area for several reasons. It’s quite remote, and there are no Uber or taxi apps available. The only option is to call a taxi by phone. Most drivers don’t speak English well, and they expect you to give them your exact location. If you mispronounce anything or seem unsure, they become impatient and may even hang up on you. 4. Food Options: The food in the area was disappointing. Most of the restaurants are low quality, and there are no good options for a proper lunch or dinner. Even basic fast-food chains were not available nearby. 5. Local Environment: There are virtually no tourists in the area, and it feels very unwelcoming. Unless you travel to Alicante—which is about 40 minutes away—there’s nothing nearby for visitors. The local people around the villa were generally unfriendly and seemed to have no appreciation for tourists.
