“Beautiful villa in a tranquil setting but close to amenities.”

The best

The villa is perfectly positioned between Can Pastilla and Portixol but has it's own small community of bars and restaurants. It it easy walking distance to both afore-mentioned resorts and is very close to the beach in a quiet residential neighbourhood. There are two large supermarkets within easy walking distance and a bank with cashtill. The villa is very large and spacious with beautiful soft furnishings giving a clean and cool feel about it. We stayed as a party of 8 adults and did not feel cramped at all. The 5 bedrooms are all spacious and furnished lovely (one ground floor and four on the first floor - one of which is ensuite.). All of the upper bedrooms have a terrace to sit out and enjoy an early morning coffee. The kitchen is huge and easily accommodated 8 adults wandering around pouring drinks and preparing food at the same time. We used all of the equipment in the kitchen and the owners kindly leave anything left by previous occupants as a bonus to new occupants. Some villas remove even basic essentials such as salt and pepper but Sol Felostal leave pretty much everything - even alcohol ! The exterior top storey does not have furniture but we did enjoy some lovely sunsets with a glass of fizz before making our way back down to enjoy dinner on the terrace. The outside area - where we spent all of our evenings - is superb. There was ample seating and dining for all 8 of us and the pool lights up at dusk which casts a beautiful glow over the terrace. The pool is lovely and has jacuzzi jets in one corner. It is not heated but as it stays in the sun all day it is warm to swim in and is just the right temperature to cool off. There were plenty of sunbeds for all of us and we were able to hire pool towels.

To be improved

We struggled a little trying to figure out how to work the hob and oven and could not understand the instructions. Perhaps some basic notes might help people in the future. We did, however, figure it out in the end, although it did turn out to be quite a late supper that night.

The Villa SOL FELOSTAL is an amazing place to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all of our needs. We've got a very warm welcome, the hosts showed us around and gave us useful tips regarding the area. The house was clean and perfect for the large group as we were. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend! It was a wonderful stay.
