“Overall, good value for money and photos reflect the property fairly. We had a great time!”
-The villa is very spacious inside, with the outside pool area being the highlight. We were concerned before booking about shaded areas with the baby, but there are plenty. You need to bring your own pool towels. There is also residential parking if you hire a car (we didn't). -It’s only a short 5 minute walk to a decent-ish supermarket. It is quite a bit more expensive than the Bip supermarket though which is a further 20 minute walk away and has more fresh/fridge food. -5 minute walk also to a gorgeous restaurant called Cala Fererra, which has lovely staff and serves delicious Mediterranean food (we also ordered pizza and paella from here on two nights which was great). -The local/nearest beach is quite special, and the least touristy of the few in the area. It’s another 5 minute walk, then quite a few stairs to walk down, then you‘re looking at a beautiful cove. We went every morning around 8.30am for a swim and there was never anyone there. It gets busier throughout the day. No deckchairs or parasols so if you’re going for the day you’d need to bring your own. -Margdalina the manager was so lovely; she helped accommodate our arrival/departure time, helped organised taxis and gave local recommendations.
The villa is not a luxury modern property and we feel it could do with some updating, but feels more like a spacious, traditional, family home. So it all depends what vibe you are looking for. Everything was functional and we had no issues with any of the facilities. Kitchen was well equipped and TV was modern. Internet worked fine, except one evening, but I wouldn’t rely on it for any work calls or important online work. The property is not advertised as having air-con, and based on another review, we thought it might be ok with just fans. For us, the heat is the evening was absolutely unbearable (30 degrees at night!). In our room with our baby, we had two fans and a mini fan, but all of us struggled. We even tried the hack of bowls of ice under the fans! The lack of aircon is the only reason we wouldn’t come back; at least not in the summer months.
“Overall we enjoyed the location & the outside area. The inside is functional but not luxurious.”
Firstly, this villa is located on a wonderful position, overlooking the ocean, with magnificent views, a great pool and a nice sitting area outside.
Inside, it is quite dated to be honest, particularly the kitchen, could do with a refurbishment. Having stayed in many other villa's, this one is OK, but could really benefit from having air-con too.
