“Not worth the stress”

Check-in was a nightmare - had to get keys from another place called Hotel Rural Es Turo (2.8km away). They did not message us with check-in instructions and when I tried contacting them (messaging and phone call) on the day they were unresponsive. It is only mentioned under "Things to know before your check-in" in fine print after booking - in my opinion this should be disclosed from the very start on their Booking.com page. Advertised to fit 4 adults, turned out to be one bedroom apartment with one bed and one sofa bed setup in the living room. Experience overall was stressful and underwhelming - would not recommend.

“Good for short stay close to nice restaurants”

Nice apartment with a great view towards the field. Nice pool area. Everyday cleaning service. Plenty of good restaurants in the town.

To be improved

We stayed on the 1st floor and could hear every step and movement from the guests above us on the 2nd floor. For a short 4-night stay, it was manageable, but for a longer stay, this could become extremely disruptive, especially if there are children running or jumping early in the morning. Soundproofing could definitely be improved.

The character and the decor of the rooms are beautiful. The pool area is nice and the cleaning staff were very friendly

To be improved

I stayed in the studio on the top floor and it was far too hot, the air con hardly works. Pillows were a little too soft. Perhaps having more sunbeds in the sun by the pool would be good

“The most confusing check in but beautiful accommodation and very relaxing.”

This place is stunning there is no question about it but we were so confused by the check in process. The first address we put into google maps took us to a random road with nothing around until we finally found the Villa Station. The gate was open so we arrived only to find no one there and no information. We ran into one of the cleaners who didn’t speak any English. He gestured for us to leave our bags and follow him to his car and follow him in the car! We were so confused! He took us 5 minutes down the road to Hotel Rural Es Turo where he found someone who spoke English and told us to check in at the restaurant. Once checked in they gave us instructions on how to get to the Villa. I let the hotel know our arrival time so it was very disappointing to have such confusion upon our arrival. No where does it say on booking.com that the room is totally separate location form the restaurant/pool. So lucky we had a car to get between locations!!

To be improved

The toilet doesn’t flush properly and there is a sewage smell from the sink and bathrooms. It’s so bad! The wifi only reaches to one kitchen area and not the bedroom.

Access to the services of the main hotel is a very nice plus. · Cons: The floors and walls are really thin and you can clearly hear everyone else staying at the property. Also the windows and the shutters of our room did not close completely well so that some light would enter in the early morning waking up our baby.”
