“Great value apartment in Puerto de la Cruz”

The best

The apartment was spacious and well furnished. The bathrooms were clean and well worked well. The patio/garden/veranda was spacious and had chairs, loungers a table and a sun umbrella. The online phone operated door lock was very convenient. The area was peaceful and quiet so we got a good night's sleep. There were two supermarkets nearby and two hotels that allowed guests to use their restaurants and bars. The walk into town was downhill and fairly ready even in the heat.

To be improved

We knew it didn't have air-conditioning and retrospectively we realize that us Britions probably need this. We didn't open the patio doors overnight which would have been cooler because of a fear of mosquito bites but overall we didn't really have any bites and certainly nothing that blistered so that might have helped us if we had done that. The walk back up the hills to the apartment made us all sweat a bit but a taxi from town to the apartment was just 5 or 6 Euros. Take your laptop if you need TV other than Spanish or German.
