“Great location and great price, but enough is enough, we won’t be back”

Location, the living/dining room and the pool

To be improved

Everything is dated, this is are 4th time staying here over the past 6-7 years and it has got more run down over these years. In the first review we posted after our first stay we stated the kitchen needed replaced, the bathroom room floor needed replaced and both showers need the hardware replaced, that is still the case 6-7 years later.

“We did not stay here. Having used booking.com every year to book are holiday we were shocked”
The best

Firstly, the villa had a pervasive musty odor combined with the unmistakable smell of urine as soon as we walked in. This immediately set a negative tone for our stay, which only worsened as we inspected the rest of the property. The flooring was broken in multiple areas, posing a significant safety hazard, especially with children in the group. The pool, which was a key feature of our booking, was in a deplorable state. It was cloudy with green algae around the edges, making it entirely unusable. There was absolutely no way I would have let my children near it, let alone swim in it. Additionally, the furniture inside the villa was dirty and grubby, with outdoor furniture, including the table and chairs, in a filthy condition. The patio area was overgrown with weeds and appeared very shabby, and the garden furniture was in a tatty state. The sunbeds, which should have provided comfort, were in desperate need of a good clean. The main light in the bedroom was also not functioning, adding to the list of maintenance issues that clearly had not been addressed. The games area was a complete letdown as well. The pool cues for the pool table had no tips, rendering them useless, and there were no accessories available for the table tennis, aside from the table itself. Given these numerous and severe issues, it was impossible for us to stay at the villa. We left the property on the day of our arrival and secured alternative accommodation at our expense

“Not worth the price, needs modernised, beware of the dog”
The best

Spacious 3 bed villa, in a fairly quiet area, not far from a supermarket and town centre, Nice outside area with fruit trees, if a bit scruffy with a good, small pool, although deep, probably unsafe for little kids. Plenty of utensils if you plan to eat in, dish washer and washing machine. Plenty of towels (although there was only 3 of us). Pool gets the sun all day and there's three tabled sitting out areas, beware of the mozzies.

To be improved

Villa really needs modernised, a lot of lights and electrical points didn't work. Plenty of storage space, although the wooden drawers give clothes a musky smell. There's an Pool table, but the cues were broken, Table tennis table but only one broken bat, found two balls in the undergrowth. Pool gets deep quickly so not suitable for toddlers, plenty of sunbeds but need a good cleaning. Main bathroom floor is old poor quality and not bathroom specific laminate, so was damaged, scruffy and unhygienic. Sink was blocked with 'gunge.' Second bathroom toilet bowl wasn't bolted down, so be careful when you get up! Outside sun canopy broken, hangs to one side. Upper sun terrace with washing lines but fenced off, so had to rig a line to dry washing. Backs onto scrub land with a busy road just beyond so noisy at times. Keep mosquito spray ready as sun goes down! TV, but could only get Spanish and German channels, some old US programmes in English and Sky news. Villa is semi detached and pool over looked by neighbours, although little noise from next door they do have an vicious XL Bully dog that barks and lunges at anyone who walks past their property. Could be dangerous to the unaware and small children who get too close to the gate as the dog springs its head through the gate and could grab someone, would not like to think what could happen if it got out. Visitors book would be nice so visitors could add comments i.e where to get a nice meal, things to see, beware of the dog etc. The picture used in the advertisement an old one, its actually more scruffy than that.

“Disappointing”
The best

Location was good, pool was nice and the villa was a good size.

To be improved

We had to buy cleaning products to clean the garden furniture because it was filthy. The villa smelt damp and fusty. There was a pool table, but all the cues were missing the tip so couldn't be used there was a table tennis table but only 1 bat!. We were due to have the villa cleaned on the Friday, halfway through our holiday, but the cleaners came on the Tuesday, 2 days before we left. The villa is old and tired and needs an upgrade, and the outside area was poor, with broken concrete on the patio which could be dangerous and weeds everywhere. Overall we were very disappointed.

“Spacious property, great facilities.”
The best

Great location only 5 minute walk to centre, beach and bus station

To be improved

Very minor points, the pool was cloudy on arrival but this could have been because of heavy rain before our arrival- pool cleaned and checked next day. Damaged tips on pool que.
