Villa Turistica de Bubion

A rustic mountain hotel hidden in the village of Bubion. What's nice about this hotel it is big and open. Comfortable hotel room and spacious and has a separate living. Incredible views from the hotel outdoor patio. The staff were wonderful.

We loved our 1 night stay at this hotel that looks like one of the white villages. Our room was 2 levels: bedroom and bath upstairs, sitting area on main level. We enjoyed a lovely hike to Capileira and back. It was quiet and night and we enjoyed the pool after our hike. The breakfast was standard, with lots of options. We thought it was an amazing deal for the price. We would happily stay here again.

Best Location for a getaway! This is now our favorite place for a change of the coast. Fabulous caring staff, having a handicap husband I do not worry of leaving home to enjoy this hotel. The handicap room (20) fits our needs and easy access to all public areas. I would only change one thing and instead of love seat put a sofa in there as it would be more comfortable for the non handicap person and an alternative sitting rather then the bed for the handicap person. Wifi does not work in the room but just outside the back patio, or pool or terrace of the hotel. Having a space for handicap car is also extremely helpful.

We were given villa number 22. It was big for a four member family and everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable and since it's a quiet village, there was no noise to disturb your sleep. We had breakfast included and they had a good variety to choose from.The food quality was ok too. We went hiking from Bubión to Capileira and it was a nice path to try if you have good legs. The views and surroundings in the area were outstanding and if you like nature, you must consider trying one of the four or five paths that the village offers to its visitors. The only thing that we didn't like much about the hotel was the sofa. It was quite uncomfortable and you couldn't sit there for more than 30 minutes. The thing that we liked the most was how nice the hotel staff was. They are always helpful and nice to talk to.

This is one of our favorite hotels and location. A pueblo feel with a good restaurant, terrace, pool area. This year was a new experience as traveling with a handicapped person and wheelchair. Access was good to the public areas of the hotel we enjoyed relaxing and the pool and terrace area. The beauty and quiet could be enjoyed. The handicap room worked extremely well. One change would be a sofa like in other rooms as when my husband was sleeping it was the only place to relax as he could not be left alone. The hotel have been extremely helpful with my special diet and helped us with special requests. The receptionist and waiter Juan we have had before were extremely helpful. Although we were not able to enjoy the trekking and climbing the village as before it was an exceptional much needed break and we will return.

First time to the area. Booked this hotel as very reasonably priced. We went half board. Later read the great previews and couldn’t agree more with them. So glad we stayed for two nights. Great food. Beautiful and great location. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely recommend and will revisit. The staff were all very friendly and special thanks to ( unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name) the “daytime receptionist/ manageress, so welcoming and patient and very helpful with recommendations for local walks. We were trying to practice our Spanish and she was a brilliant teacher!! Thank you.😁 If you want to escape the hustle and bustle then this is the place.
