Villa Turquesa

Villa hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupiers when we arrived at 4pm so we had to frantically message and call the provided numbers several times and then sit outside for 90 mins while they cleaned. Not a great start to the holiday. The oven gave myself and my husband electric shocks. They tried to fix it but were unable to while we were there so it meant we spent the entire self catering holiday without a working oven and were told to just “use the hob and the microwave” which was incredibly unhelpful and meant we had to throw away a lot of the food we’d bought and spend a lot more money eating out than we’d planned to.

Not knowing where to take the trash

Tired decor. Kitchen units and worktops need to be updated. Broken tiles outside at the front entrance. No comfortable lounge set on the rear or front terrace. No furniture on roof terrace which is a shame, a lounge set or bistro set would have been nice, just somewhere to sit and have a coffee would have been lovely and would make use of a beautiful space. Ants in the kitchen, this is normal of many villas in Lanzarote, a spray is provided. Generally in need of some TLC. The cost of pool heating should be included.
