“Superb”

The best

Spacious, well equipped, clean, everything’s working, nice terase. Walking distance to one of the best restaurants on the island, 5 min drive to big supermarket, panaderia, etc. Very good spot to start all you adventures.

“Traditional but disappointing”

Modern bathrooms and kitchen have been fitted. Good supply of hot water. Strong WiFi. Comfortable enough beds.

To be improved

It's a very traditional older Canarian house. I've stayed in many of these on the different islands over the years. Which would be fine if this one weren't in need of a lot of TLC, both indoors and in outside space. Very disappointed with the general lack of cleanliness. Picture attached of kitchen floor. Fridge hadn't been wiped out properly. Just gave us an immediate sense that we didn't feel comfortable there. Quality of bedding and towels disappointing. I really wouldn't want to try to find it in the dark. Directions given weren't great, weren't sure if we really had found the correct house and street, and the road system on the island is confusing and tricky if coming on main road from port/capital. Parking locally really difficult. Check in wasn't available at 3pm as advertised due to overstay of previous guests. Pictures as seen when booking don't represent the reality.
