I liked that the property was clean.
There was so much that we didn’t like about the property. The facilities were basic and for a villa lacked basic kitchen utensils. We had to buy oven trays/cheese graters/more cutlery as there wasn’t enough for 6 people even though it’s a 3 bedroom villa. The fridge/freezer wasn’t on before we arrived so all our fresh shopping went to waste in 26 degree heat. The fridge took over 18 hours to get cool enough and the freezer took over 24hours. The WiFi was not working at all throughout our stay and our normal reception was patchy so our home from home tariff didn’t work so well. The second bedroom and bathroom light didn’t work. The dishwasher had an error message E4 so couldn’t use it. The sofa was small for 6 people. The place could do with a freshen up as a lot of the walls had terrible scuff marks. There were broken tiles in the pool and the pool was not serviced in our stay and from the oil layer on top of the pool when we arrived it hadn’t been done before our stay. There was broken glass in the seats of the dining table and our child cut their finger. The roof solarium was dirty with no cushions up there so was unusable. There was no welcome person, just picked the keys up from a box. We even had to leave the keys on the table when we left and just close the door. When we contacted the owner/or what we thought was the owner about our problems we received no response at all. We raised a complaint through booking.com and the owner didn’t even respond to them. All in all I believe this property to be just a ‘cash cow’ and for the money you are spending, you should be getting so much more. It was actually a really disappointing stay for what could be such a lovely villa but like I said, I think the owner is much more interested in your money as opposed to actually be interested in providing hospitality.
